Light-weight tyre for low fuel consumption.
Interconnected shoulder blocks for low sound levels.
Low air ratio of the outer shoulder for extra grip on dry surfaces.
Asymmetrically shaped outer longitudinal groove for extra stability.
High air ratio of the inner shoulder for superior water dispersal.
Optimal pressure distribution for even wear and hence longer tyre life.
Summer and winter side for the best possible performance in all weather conditions.

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Quality you can feel
Had them fitted last month. Wet grip is confidence-inspiring and they look the part too. Put these on two months ago and the car feels noticeably more planted.

Third car I've run on Apollo. Consistent quality every time. Not the grippiest in hard cornering, but for normal driving they're more than adequate. Coped fine with a light snowfall in early spring. Slightly firmer ride than I expected.
