Description

Summer HP 2 – the ideal choice for long distances and durability

Enjoy sporty driving while maintaining comfort. The Summer HP 2 is your ideal compromise. Its high-performance design combines a tyre-optimized tread with outstanding handling characteristics. Designed for drivers who expect more from a tyre: more driving pleasure, safety and outstanding value for money.

The combination of a centre groove and various cuts reduces tread stiffness and improves driving comfort.
Innovative tyre tread with a new rubber compound reduces tyre weight by approx. 8%, resulting in lower fuel consumption and more environmentally friendly driving.
Modern tread technology significantly reduces rolling resistance and increases efficiency.
Unique and innovative tread design with small, high-density blocks reduces vibrations and guarantees a comfortable and quiet driving experience.

Good, not perfect
Fine for the price. Slightly more road noise than I hoped on coarse asphalt. Good in town and on the motorway alike.

Does the job well
Good balance of comfort and handling. Would buy again. No squirm even on hot asphalt.

Handles well
Does the job, nothing more. For daily commuting it's perfectly fine. Stable and precise in summer heat. Took a few hundred km to bed in.

Good grip in the wet
Fitted them at a mate's garage. Straightforward job and they've been faultless since. Not the last word in steering feel.
