ContiEcoContact™ 5 – perfect for safe, fuel efficient driving.
Combining short braking distances on wet and dry roads with low rolling resistance has in the past always been considered extremely problematic. Europe's leading tyre manufacturer Continental has now launched a product which resolves this problem with apparent ease - the new ContiEcoContact 5. The tyre engineers did, however, have to tread new ground in terms of all the tire elements involved - casing, compound, tire contour and tread pattern design - in order to achieve the high level of progress.
Rolling resistance:
This state-of-the-art tyre is ideal for motorists who drive long distances.
Braking:
The design of the tyre improves grip in the wet, giving you safety when braking.
- Best handling on wet and dry roads
- Optimised rolling resistance for reduced fuel consumption
- High braking safety and short braking distances on wet roads

Solid summer tyre
Comfortable over rough surfaces. My old set used to thump over every bump. Good value, though the sidewall is softer than my previous set.
- Thomas B.02/04/20265.0 / 5
Does the job well
Fitted them at a mate's garage. Straightforward job and they've been faultless since. Grip in corners is reassuring and the steering feels a bit sharper than before. No squirm even on hot asphalt.

Good, not perfect
Second set of Continental on this car. The last ones wore well, expecting the same here. Bought on price, staying for the quality. Stable and precise in summer heat.
- Matteo G.03/08/20253.0 / 5
Fair tyre for the money
Fitted them at a mate's garage. Straightforward job and they've been faultless since. Slightly firmer ride than I expected.
