Description

Utra-High-Performance tyre with "Racing Technology" for excellent stability and cornering grip.

Increased road feedback and steering precision reduce the diameter and the coating to get them closer to the road and boost steering precision.

Enhanced cornering grip on wet and dry roads deliver enhanced strength and stifness thanks to more rubber-to-road contact and ensure a better cornering grip.

Shorter braking distance, especially at high speeds optimizes geometry leading to increased block rigidity ensuring a shorter high speed braking distance.

Shorter braking distance, especially at high speeds
Enhanced cornering grip on wet and dry roads
Increased road feedback and steering precision

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Worth the money
Switched from a budget brand to the Sport Maxx RT 2 — the difference in braking is obvious. Good tyre overall.

Would buy again
Good summer tyre for the money. Rolling noise is low and braking feels predictable. Wet braking is excellent.

Solid summer tyre
Put these on two months ago and the car feels noticeably more planted. The Sport Maxx RT 2 grips well on dry roads. Driven about 3,000 km on these so far.

Happy with the purchase
Ordered online, fitted locally. The tyres themselves have been faultless so far. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.

Pleasantly surprised
Not the grippiest in hard cornering, but for normal driving they're more than adequate. Stable and precise in summer heat.

Dunlop delivers again
The car feels more stable in crosswinds since fitting these. For this price I didn't expect much, but the Sport Maxx RT 2 genuinely surprised me.
