Description

The new Winter Response 2 features a tread pattern with 45 degree shoulder sipes for better traction when cornering on snow and ice. Our innovative Reverse Snowguide block pattern captures snow in the centreline of the tyre tread for increased contact area, meaning more grip when braking and accelerating.

High-density sipes mean more biting edges for improved wet weather braking and handling, as well as better traction on snow and ice. Fine-tuned shape carcass construction means less deformation in comparison to a standard tyre, for improved rolling resistance and better fuel economy.

M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

Fair tyre for the money
Handles standing water better than my previous set. Feel much safer in autumn rain. Proper grip on packed snow, no wheelspin drama.
