What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

Great value for money
Second set of Falken on this car. The last ones wore well, expecting the same here. Bought a full set of Falken for the family car.

Great value for money
Had them fitted last month. Wet grip is confidence-inspiring and they look the part too. Bought a full set of Falken for the family car.

Recommended
Fitted before a long road trip. Comfortable at motorway speeds and felt safe in heavy rain. My mechanic recommended Falken and he was right.

Strong performer
Good in town and on the motorway alike. Versatile tyre. Early days, but first impressions are very good.

Smooth ride
Solid everyday tyre. Nothing flashy, but it does everything I ask of it. Not the last word in steering feel.

Nice upgrade
Brakes hard and straight, no pulling. Very reassuring. Good winter tyre for the money. Proper grip on packed snow, no wheelspin drama.
