M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

Bought on price, staying for the quality. The Multicontrol punches above its weight. Reliable summer rubber. No squirm even on hot asphalt.

Balanced and predictable. Exactly how a tyre should feel. Decent grip dry and wet, but they took a few hundred km to feel bedded in.

Okay for everyday driving
Fine for the price. Slightly more road noise than I hoped on coarse asphalt. Grip when pulling away on wet junctions is much better than my old tyres.
