What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

Braking feels secure
Good all-season tyre for the money. Rolling noise is low and braking feels predictable. They're okay. Nice not having to swap tyres twice a year.

Fitted and forgotten
Good balance of comfort and handling. Would buy again. Coped fine with a light snowfall in early spring.

Pleasantly surprised
Good tyre overall. Would have liked a bit more feedback through the steering. Brakes hard and straight, no pulling.

Impressed so far
Switched from a budget brand to the GREENWING A/S — the difference in braking is obvious.

Quiet and comfortable
My mechanic recommended Grenlander and he was right. Quiet, stable, no complaints. Nice not having to swap tyres twice a year.
