Excellent braking power and cornering stability

-Chamfer technology improves braking power and guarantees even pressure distribution: the bevelled tread blocks optimize pressure load and thus increase grip. This reduces the braking distance by 6% compared to its predecessor.

Superb braking and cornering performance

Superb performance that lasts

  • Even ground pressure distribution: the further optimized shape and inner structure of the tire have resulted in an even contact patch for low wear, even under high loads.
  • Superb water drainage: the advanced drainage design reduces block deformation for better contact with the road. It ensures safer driving on wet roads thanks to a convex block shape. This means 7% shorter braking distances on wet roads and 4% better handling compared to the previous model.
  • Enhanced grip performance thanks to a new formula: the Ventus evo offers excellent grip even on wet roads thanks to a new rubber compound with performance-enhancing resins. The enhanced compound material increases grip by optimizing tire temperature as a result of tire movement.
  • Optimized tread design for even wear: the tread blocks and tread grooves have been optimally coordinated to guarantee even wear and a long tire life. This increases mileage by 30% compared to its predecessor.
  • Optimized stiffness pattern: maximized stiffness in the direction of travel, especially on the outer sides, improves grip on dry roads.
  • Improved cornering stability: the flattened shoulder profile increases the rigidity of the tire sidewall for optimum grip and driving stability, especially at high speeds.
  • Improved shoulder grooves: wet braking performance is improved by extended lateral shoulder grooves, which effectively secure cavities during braking maneuvers or heavy loads and increase the contact area. In addition, special connecting rods on the shoulder blocks ensure a closed structure that minimizes noise levels during normal driving.

    Strong performer

    Grip when pulling away on wet junctions is much better than my old tyres. Not the grippiest in hard cornering, but for normal driving they're more than adequate. Slightly firmer ride than I expected.

    Strong performer

    Put these on two months ago and the car feels noticeably more planted. The Ventus evo K137 grips well on dry roads. Braking in the wet feels a touch longer than my old premium set, but at this price it's fair. Slightly firmer ride than I expected.

    Strong performer

    Had them fitted last month. Wet grip is confidence-inspiring and they look the part too. Grip in corners is reassuring and the steering feels a bit sharper than before. No squirm even on hot asphalt.
