The new Kumho PorTran 4S CX11 combines the strengths of the previously launched Solus 4S HA32 all-season car tyre with those of the Kumho Winter PorTran CW11. The tyre thus offers safe driving and excellent braking performance all year round.

Certified for severe winter conditions (3PMSF alpine symbol)
M+S marking for mud and snow
Strong wet grip (class B)

One set for the entire year: the all-season compound and adaptable tread deliver safe driving in changing weather without the twice-yearly swap.

What the tyre markings mean

M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

They're okay. Comfortable enough, but I expected a bit sharper turn-in. Braking in the wet feels a touch longer than my old premium set, but at this price it's fair. Nothing fancy, but fair for the price.
