What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Quiet and comfortable
Had these through a full season now. Wear is minimal and performance hasn't dropped. Stable and precise in summer heat. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.

Not the grippiest in hard cornering, but for normal driving they're more than adequate. Braking in the wet feels a touch longer than my old premium set, but at this price it's fair.
