M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Worth the money

For this price I didn't expect much, but the Trek M7 genuinely surprised me. Grip when pulling away on wet junctions is much better than my old tyres.

Does what it says
Not the grippiest in hard cornering, but for normal driving they're more than adequate. Does exactly what a summer tyre should. Stable and precise in summer heat.
