The outer shoulder block profile ensures perfect straight running and good curve handling. Straight, centered grooves and an arched profile on the shoulder blocks reduce noise and vibration. Four circumferential grooves with thin inner grooves improve water drainage and aquaplaning resistance. Improved rolling resistance is achieved by a multi-spacer profile. Central grooves improve straight-line stability at top speeds and provide optimum performance.

Impressed so far
Balanced and predictable. Exactly how a tyre should feel. Stable and precise in summer heat. Slightly firmer ride than I expected.

Worth the money
Put these on two months ago and the car feels noticeably more planted. The Premitra HP5 grips well on dry roads. Second set of Maxxis on this car.

A step up from my old set
Very quiet on tarmac. The Premitra HP5 made my commute noticeably more relaxed. Decent grip dry and wet, but they took a few hundred km to feel bedded in. Stable and precise in summer heat.
