Description

The Victra Sport 5 is a completely new development in the ultra-high performance sector with all the technical refinements that can be taken into account in the most demanding products in this segment. Starting with a well-engineered full-silica tread pattern that offers the best wet handling characteristics, and an innovative tread design with variable longitudinal grooves, the tyre also has other characteristics that make this new UHP tyre an absolute top product.

Tread blocks in 3D design to avoid roll-in effect during strong braking manoeuvres
Newly developed sidewall for better damping comfort while maintaining low rolling resistance values

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Decent for the price
Fine for the price. Slightly more road noise than I hoped on coarse asphalt. Third car I've run on Maxxis. Stable and precise in summer heat.

Good grip in the wet
Put these on two months ago and the car feels noticeably more planted. The Victra Sport VS5 grips well on dry roads. No squirm even on hot asphalt.
