MICHELIN Pilot Sport 4 SUV - the ultimate tyre for your SUV, safe and longlasting.

Steering control:

The Dynamic Response technology, a newly developed hybrid belt ply made of a mixture of aramid and nylon, enables optimum steering behaviour. The ultra-reactive tread pattern continuously adapts to the road surface for optimum ground contact.

Safety:

The fine-tuned rubber compound of special functional elastomers and silica provides superb wet grip and braking properties. Wide and deep longitudinal grooves in the tread pattern guarantee superb water drainage on wet surfaces.

Longevity:

With the outstanding longevity of MICHELIN tyres.

Development:

The MICHELIN Pilot Sport product range was developed in cooperation with renowned automobile manufacturers worldwide such as Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Porsche. A great deal of know-how from top racing sports such as Formula E and the World Rally Championship has been incorporated into the tread pattern design.

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
EV: Suitable for electric vehiclesThis tyre is optimised for the weight, torque, rolling resistance and noise requirements of electric and hybrid vehicles. The marking does not mean that it can only be used on an EV.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Pleasantly surprised
Had these through a full season now. Wear is minimal and performance hasn't dropped. Third car I've run on MICHELIN.

Happy with the purchase
Ride comfort is the standout. Long journeys feel less tiring now. Decent grip dry and wet, but they took a few hundred km to feel bedded in. No squirm even on hot asphalt. Not the last word in steering feel.

Handles standing water better than my previous set. Feel much safer in autumn rain. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.

Wet braking is excellent. Gave me real confidence on a flooded motorway stretch. Does exactly what a summer tyre should. Stable and precise in summer heat. Nothing fancy, but fair for the price.
