XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
EV: Suitable for electric vehiclesThis tyre is optimised for the weight, torque, rolling resistance and noise requirements of electric and hybrid vehicles. The marking does not mean that it can only be used on an EV.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Nice upgrade
Bought a full set of MICHELIN for the family car. Comfortable ride and no drama in the rain. Driven about 3,000 km on these so far.

For this price I didn't expect much, but the Pilot Sport 4S genuinely surprised me. Does exactly what a summer tyre should. Not the last word in steering feel.
