What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.

Very happy with these
Would recommend to anyone after a dependable all-season tyre without overspending. Coped fine with a light snowfall in early spring. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.

Put these on two months ago and the car feels noticeably more planted. The All Season Master grips well on dry roads.

They're okay. Comfortable enough, but I expected a bit sharper turn-in. Fuel consumption seems slightly better since the switch. Nothing fancy, but fair for the price.
