As a summer tyre, the N'blue S is tuned for warm conditions: a firm tread compound and a pattern built for stable dry handling and short braking distances. On wet roads the grooves channel water away quickly to keep the contact patch working.

    Good, not perfect

    Grip when pulling away on wet junctions is much better than my old tyres. Does exactly what a summer tyre should. No squirm even on hot asphalt.

    Happy with the purchase

    Early days, but first impressions are very good. Smooth and quiet. Very quiet on tarmac. Slightly firmer ride than I expected.

    Nexen delivers again

    For this price I didn't expect much, but the N'blue S genuinely surprised me. Decent grip dry and wet, but they took a few hundred km to feel bedded in. Stable and precise in summer heat.

    Nexen delivers again

    Braking in the wet feels a touch longer than my old premium set, but at this price it's fair. Wet braking is excellent. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.
