As a summer tyre, the RGS02 is tuned for warm conditions: a firm tread compound and a pattern built for stable dry handling and short braking distances. On wet roads the grooves channel water away quickly to keep the contact patch working.

Worth the money
Good value, though the sidewall is softer than my previous set. Comfortable over rough surfaces.

Better than expected
Ride comfort is the standout. Long journeys feel less tiring now. Fuel consumption seems slightly better since the switch.

Okay for everyday driving
Grip when pulling away on wet junctions is much better than my old tyres. My mechanic recommended Roadhog and he was right. Took a few hundred km to bed in.
