As a summer tyre, the RGS02 is tuned for warm conditions: a firm tread compound and a pattern built for stable dry handling and short braking distances. On wet roads the grooves channel water away quickly to keep the contact patch working.

Impressed so far

Okay for everyday driving
Switched from a budget brand to the RGS02 — the difference in braking is obvious. Second set of Roadhog on this car. No squirm even on hot asphalt. Slightly firmer ride than I expected.

Fair tyre for the money
Grip when pulling away on wet junctions is much better than my old tyres. The car feels more stable in crosswinds since fitting these. No squirm even on hot asphalt.
