What the tyre markings mean

M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Great on the motorway
Bought a full set of Sava for the family car. Comfortable ride and no drama in the rain. Fuel consumption seems slightly better since the switch.

Good tyre overall. Would have liked a bit more feedback through the steering. Balanced and predictable. Nothing fancy, but fair for the price.
