Description

Celsius is the revolutionary variable-conditions tire with better ice and snow traction than a typical all-season tire, and longer tread life than a winter tire.

Variable sipe density

Snow claws

Slush grooves

Multi-wave sipes

Minimizes irregular wear for a smooth, quiet ride
Increases block rigidity for better ice and wet traction
Evacuates slush for increased traction on slush and snow
Outside Tread: Reduced sipe density for traction on wet and dry roads
Inside Tread: Higher sipe density for superb traction on ice and snow
Improves deep snow traction
Improves braking on icy, wet and dry roads

What the tyre markings mean

M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

Braking feels secure
Good tyre overall. Would have liked a bit more feedback through the steering. Steering response improved straight away after fitting.

Better than expected
Ordered online, fitted locally. The tyres themselves have been faultless so far. Third car I've run on Toyo. Slightly firmer ride than I expected.

Solid all-season tyre
Does the job, nothing more. For daily commuting it's perfectly fine. Handles standing water better than my previous set. Coped fine with a light snowfall in early spring. Not the last word in steering feel.

Good all-rounder
Braking in the wet feels a touch longer than my old premium set, but at this price it's fair. Coped fine with a light snowfall in early spring.

Would buy again
Ride comfort is the standout. Long journeys feel less tiring now. Steering response improved straight away after fitting. Coped fine with a light snowfall in early spring.
