M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Decent grip dry and wet, but they took a few hundred km to feel bedded in. Good value, though the sidewall is softer than my previous set. Stable and precise in summer heat.

They're okay. Comfortable enough, but I expected a bit sharper turn-in. For this price I didn't expect much, but the Geolandar X-CV G057 genuinely surprised me.
