Description

APlus Aerix RS01 – This ultra-high-performance tyre provides ultimate power at high speeds.

Asymmetrical shoulder design:

The asymmetrical shoulder, with a soft inner side and a stiff outer side, improves handling on wet roads, enhances handling precision and guarantees a thrilling driving experience.

Meteor Steel tread:

The tread, inspired by Meteor steel, conveys a sense of speed and enables the driver to accelerate responsively and instantly.

Optimized groove ratio

With a groove ratio of 5:4, the tread strikes a balance between handling and braking performance, thereby ensuring safety on slippery roads.

Innovative noise absorption:

The advanced noise-absorbing Design effectively reduces road noise in the cabin.

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

All-round good pick
Good summer tyre for the money. Rolling noise is low and braking feels predictable.

Fine tyre, minor niggles
Had these through a full season now. Wear is minimal and performance hasn't dropped. Very quiet on tarmac. Stable and precise in summer heat. Took a few hundred km to bed in.

Would buy again
Bought on price, staying for the quality. The Aerix RS01 punches above its weight. Took a few hundred km to bed in.

Fitted and forgotten
Handles standing water better than my previous set. Feel much safer in autumn rain. Stable and precise in summer heat.

Fair tyre for the money
Wet braking is excellent. Gave me real confidence on a flooded motorway stretch.
