The advantages of Austone SP701:

The Austone SP701 fulfils all requirements and standards of the European markets and offers an unbeatable price-performance-ratio at the same time.

Asymmetric tread design and dynamic block, closed and decreased lateral grooves ensure perfect, whisper-quiet performance
The thread with variable inclination reduces resonance noise; the large block design guarantees a precise driving experience
Four wide longitudinal grooves provide excellent drainage performance

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Fine tyre, minor niggles
Good in town and on the motorway alike. Versatile tyre. Good value, though the sidewall is softer than my previous set. Stable and precise in summer heat.

Decent for the price
Decent tyre at a fair price. Tread pattern clears water well. Balanced and predictable.
