Description

Experience performance anew.

Responds to everything the road has to offer. Drivers know: Conditions can change within seconds. So rely on a tyre that adapts particularly quickly to every new situation. Thanks to our adaptive tread pattern, you experience consistently safe handling on wet and dry roads – even at higher speeds.

Enjoy more driving pleasure for longer.

Enjoy driving pleasure at the highest level – and for longer than ever before (compared to its predecessors). The perfectly matched interaction between the stiff Low-Void tread and the soft BlackChili compound enables flexible performance while significantly increasing the mileage of your tyres.

Excellent performance. Whatever the size of your car. As Continental’s first tyre to be tailor-made for different vehicle classes and weights, the SportContact™ 7 gives you that signature SportContact™ feel whenever you start the engine.

Safety in every situation – developed in Germany.
Enjoy long-lasting driving pleasure thanks to the perfect interplay of extra-soft BlackChili compound and extra-stiff tread.
Trust the all-round stable performance on wet and dry roads.
Experience the typical SportContact™ feel tailor-made for different vehicle classes.

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
EV: Suitable for electric vehiclesThis tyre is optimised for the weight, torque, rolling resistance and noise requirements of electric and hybrid vehicles. The marking does not mean that it can only be used on an EV.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Solid choice
For this price I didn't expect much, but the SportContact 7 genuinely surprised me. Not the grippiest in hard cornering, but for normal driving they're more than adequate. Stable and precise in summer heat.

Confidence in corners
Grip when pulling away on wet junctions is much better than my old tyres. Stable and precise in summer heat. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.

Impressed so far
Would recommend to anyone after a dependable summer tyre without overspending.

Good, not perfect
Driven about 3,000 km on these so far. Wear looks even and grip is consistent. Good tyre overall. No squirm even on hot asphalt.

Would buy again
Decent tyre at a fair price. Tread pattern clears water well. Stable and precise in summer heat.

Pleasantly surprised
Solid everyday tyre. Nothing flashy, but it does everything I ask of it. Stable and precise in summer heat.
