What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

No complaints so far
Very quiet on tarmac. The Eurowinter HS02 PRO made my commute noticeably more relaxed. Steering response improved straight away after fitting. Proper grip on packed snow, no wheelspin drama.

Braking feels secure
Switched from a budget brand to the Eurowinter HS02 PRO — the difference in braking is obvious.

Happy with the purchase
Wet braking is excellent. Gave me real confidence on a flooded motorway stretch. Braking in the wet feels a touch longer than my old premium set, but at this price it's fair.

Trusted Falken quality
Decent tyre at a fair price. Tread pattern clears water well. Felt secure on icy morning roads.
