What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Recommended
Ordered online, fitted locally. The tyres themselves have been faultless so far. Does the job, nothing more. Stable and precise in summer heat.

Worth the money
Put these on two months ago and the car feels noticeably more planted. The SportControl 2 grips well on dry roads. Good in town and on the motorway alike.

Fitted and forgotten
Third car I've run on Fulda. Consistent quality every time.
