Description

Austone Fixclime SP-401 – reliable performance, all year round

The Austone Fixclime SP-401 is an all-season tyre designed specifically for SUVs and 4x4s, offering reliable performance across a wide range of road and weather conditions. Designed for all-season use, it delivers safe handling and stable grip on dry, wet and lightly snow-covered roads – ideal for everyday driving and changing seasonal conditions.

The Fixclime SP-401 has been developed with durability in mind and offers strong traction and reliable braking performance on both wet and dry roads. Its robust construction can withstand the weight and demands of larger vehicles, whilst the tread pattern ensures even wear and a smooth, comfortable ride. Combining safety and versatility, the Fixclime SP-401 is a smart all-season solution for SUV drivers.

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

All-round good pick
Switched from a budget brand to the Fixclime SP-401 — the difference in braking is obvious. Second set of Austone on this car. No squirm even on hot asphalt.

Better than expected
Not the grippiest in hard cornering, but for normal driving they're more than adequate. Good balance of comfort and handling.

Steering response improved straight away after fitting. Very pleased. Took a few hundred km to bed in.

All-round good pick
Switched from a budget brand to the Fixclime SP-401 — the difference in braking is obvious. Had these through a full season now. Stable and precise in summer heat.

Pleasantly surprised
Very quiet on tarmac. The Fixclime SP-401 made my commute noticeably more relaxed. Solid everyday tyre.
