Description

Good braking performance on snow:

Optimized for winter conditions, the tread pattern guarantees safe driving and short braking distances on snow-covered roads.

Precise handling in dry conditions:

The tyre convinces by its stability. This results in precise vehicle handling and short braking distances on dry roads.

Effective protection against aquaplaning:

High driving safety and effective protection against aquaplaning are also achieved on wet roads.

What the tyre markings mean

M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
EV: Suitable for electric vehiclesThis tyre is optimised for the weight, torque, rolling resistance and noise requirements of electric and hybrid vehicles. The marking does not mean that it can only be used on an EV.

Fitted them at a mate's garage. Straightforward job and they've been faultless since. Balanced and predictable.

Handles well
Solid everyday tyre. Nothing flashy, but it does everything I ask of it. Balanced and predictable. Stable and precise in summer heat.

Reliable summer rubber
Switched from a budget brand to the Quartaris 5 — the difference in braking is obvious.

Good all-rounder
Good tyre overall. Would have liked a bit more feedback through the steering. Not the last word in steering feel.

Worth the money
Does exactly what a summer tyre should. Happy with the purchase.
