Description

The POTENZA S001 offers solid handling on wet and dry roads as well as a high level of comfort. Since the introduction of the first POTENZA tyre in 1979, the premium brand POTENZA has been praised by numerous customers - especially drivers of powerful vehicles and motorsport enthusiasts.

This tyre uses the RFT system. This means that, should there be a sudden loss of air, the tyre can still be controlled without any problems, mobility is retained, and it is not necessary to change the tyre on narrow or busy roads. Tyres with the RFT technology may only be used on cars with a functioning air pressure check system.

What the tyre markings mean

RFT: Run-flat technologyReinforced sidewalls can permit limited continued driving after a loss of pressure. The permitted speed and distance depend on the manufacturer; a pressure monitoring system is normally required.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.
