What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Decent for the price
Decent tyre at a fair price. Tread pattern clears water well. For this price I didn't expect much, but the Potenza Sport genuinely surprised me. No squirm even on hot asphalt. Slightly firmer ride than I expected.

Smooth ride
Good summer tyre for the money. Rolling noise is low and braking feels predictable. Fitted them at a mate's garage. Stable and precise in summer heat. Nothing fancy, but fair for the price.
