The Turanza T005 is designed to help keep control even under difficult driving conditions. The tyre offers first-class braking and cornering characteristics even on rainy days, combined with high mileage.
Fine-tuned pattern design:
High volume slots in shoulder enhance water flow and fine-tuned distribution of void in centre part of the pattern ensures water drainage in centre contact. Increased resistance to deformation thanks to connections between shoulder blocks ensuring an even contact on shoulders while braking.
Enhanced carcass:
The unique steel and stiff polyester reinforcement ensure a superior handling and a lower rolling resistance in order to reduce CO2 emissions and fuel consumption.
New compound mixing technology:
New mixing technology improves silica dispersion in Nano Pro-tech™ high silica content compound.Synergy of pattern & compound maximises adhesion in the footprint to enhance wet grip.
- Excellent wet adhesion
- Superior wear life
- Excellent label grades

Bridgestone delivers again
Bought a full set of Bridgestone for the family car. Comfortable ride and no drama in the rain. Grip in corners is reassuring and the steering feels a bit sharper than before.

Solid summer tyre
Had these through a full season now. Wear is minimal and performance hasn't dropped. For this price I didn't expect much, but the Turanza T 005 genuinely surprised me. No squirm even on hot asphalt. Not the last word in steering feel.
- Camille W.12/03/20265.0 / 5
Handles well
Good value, though the sidewall is softer than my previous set. Stable and precise in summer heat.
- Markus H.24/01/20265.0 / 5
Good grip in the wet
Braking in the wet feels a touch longer than my old premium set, but at this price it's fair. Brakes hard and straight, no pulling.
- Bram G.04/11/20255.0 / 5
Recommended
Grip when pulling away on wet junctions is much better than my old tyres. Switched from a budget brand to the Turanza T 005 — the difference in braking is obvious. No squirm even on hot asphalt.
- Michael G.17/07/20254.0 / 5
Quality you can feel
Fine for the price. Slightly more road noise than I hoped on coarse asphalt. No squirm even on hot asphalt. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.
