Description

The Turanza T005 is designed to help keep control even under difficult driving conditions. The tyre offers first-class braking and cornering characteristics even on rainy days, combined with high mileage.

Optimised pattern design:

High volume slots in shoulder enhance water flow and optimized distribution of void in centre part of the pattern ensures water drainage in centre contact. Increased resistance to deformation thanks to connections between shoulder blocks ensuring an even contact on shoulders while braking.

Enhanced carcass:

The unique steel and stiff polyester reinforcement guarantee a superior handling and a reduced rolling resistance in order to reduce CO2 emissions and fuel consumption.

New compound mixing technology:

New mixing technology improves silica dispersion in Nano Pro-tech™ high silica content compound.Synergy of pattern & compound maximises adhesion in the footprint to enhance wet grip.

  • Outstanding label grades
  • Superior wear life
  • Excellent wet adhesion

    Reliable summer rubber

Bought on price, staying for the quality. The Turanza T 005 punches above its weight. Slightly firmer ride than I expected.

    Better than expected

Switched from a budget brand to the Turanza T 005 — the difference in braking is obvious. Had them fitted last month.

    Recommended

Braking in the wet feels a touch longer than my old premium set, but at this price it's fair.

  • Isabelle M.24/06/2025

    Fine tyre, minor niggles

Wet braking is excellent. Gave me real confidence on a flooded motorway stretch.
