What the tyre markings mean
- XL
- Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
- M+S
- Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
- 3PMSF

Fitted and forgotten
Had these through a full season now. Wear is minimal and performance hasn't dropped. Not the grippiest in hard cornering, but for normal driving they're more than adequate.

Fitted and forgotten
Bought a full set of Continental for the family car. Comfortable ride and no drama in the rain. Fuel consumption seems slightly better since the switch. Not the last word in steering feel.
