As a summer tyre, the PremiumContact C is tuned for warm conditions: a firm tread compound and a pattern built for stable dry handling and short braking distances. On wet roads the grooves channel water away quickly to keep the contact patch working.

Like all tyres in our range, this model meets the applicable European safety and labelling standards and is produced under strict quality control.

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Fitted and forgotten
Handles standing water better than my previous set. Feel much safer in autumn rain. Third car I've run on Continental.

Great value for money
Comfortable over rough surfaces. My old set used to thump over every bump. Slightly firmer ride than I expected.

Decent for the price
Grip when pulling away on wet junctions is much better than my old tyres. Decent grip dry and wet, but they took a few hundred km to feel bedded in.

Worth the money
Fuel consumption seems slightly better since the switch. Tyres themselves are great. Wet braking is excellent. Stable and precise in summer heat.
