Braking:
The optimized tread pattern guarantees better interlocking with the snow which automatically leads to shorter braking distances. Additionally the tread grooves and shoulder blocks enhance the compression of snow in the grooves. Therefore the grip increases and also the traction in the snow.
Aquaplaning:
Through the wide grooves the water displacement is fine-tuned, which guarantees high aquaplaning safety. Additionally, the 3D sipes support each other lead to higher stability. As a result the braking distances are shortened on wet roads.
Rolling resistance:
The new silica compound reduces energy loss and improves the rolling resistance.

Smooth ride
Handles standing water better than my previous set. Feel much safer in autumn rain. Felt secure on icy morning roads. Slightly firmer ride than I expected.
Good, not perfect
Second set of Continental on this car. The last ones wore well, expecting the same here. Would recommend to anyone after a dependable winter tyre without overspending.
Pleasantly surprised
Bought a full set of Continental for the family car. Comfortable ride and no drama in the rain. Very quiet on tarmac.
Fitted and forgotten
They're okay. Comfortable enough, but I expected a bit sharper turn-in. Took a few hundred km to bed in.
Great on the motorway
Grip when pulling away on wet junctions is much better than my old tyres.
Solid winter tyre
Grip when pulling away on wet junctions is much better than my old tyres. Proper grip on packed snow, no wheelspin drama.
