What the tyre markings mean
- XL
- Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
- M+S
- Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.

Does the job well
Had them fitted last month. Wet grip is confidence-inspiring and they look the part too. Good balance of comfort and handling. Felt secure on icy morning roads. Took a few hundred km to bed in.
