The new Frigo is a winter tyre with enhanced mileage and greater grip in wintery conditions. It boasts greater economy and safety. The tread compound, which is tailored to wintery conditions, retains its elasticity, even at low temperatures. This reduces wear and increases mileage.

Certified for severe winter conditions (3PMSF alpine symbol)
M+S marking for mud and snow

The cold-weather compound stays flexible at low temperatures, while the dense siping bites into snow and slush for dependable traction. Braking on winter roads remains controlled and predictable.

What the tyre markings mean

M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

Fitted and forgotten
Good summer tyre for the money. Rolling noise is low and braking feels predictable. Braking in the wet feels a touch longer than my old premium set, but at this price it's fair. Not the last word in steering feel.
