M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

Decent for the price
Very quiet on tarmac. The Euroallseason VAN 11 made my commute noticeably more relaxed. Steering response improved straight away after fitting. Coped fine with a light snowfall in early spring.

No complaints so far
Fuel consumption seems slightly better since the switch. Tyres themselves are great. Does exactly what a all-season tyre should. Nice not having to swap tyres twice a year.

Strong performer
Brakes hard and straight, no pulling. Very reassuring. Nice not having to swap tyres twice a year. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.

Does what it says
Decent grip dry and wet, but they took a few hundred km to feel bedded in. Grip when pulling away on wet junctions is much better than my old tyres. Coped fine with a light snowfall in early spring. Not the last word in steering feel.

Falken delivers again
Good value, though the sidewall is softer than my previous set. Nice not having to swap tyres twice a year. Took a few hundred km to bed in.
