-Chamfer technology improves braking power and guarantees even pressure distribution: the bevelled tread blocks optimize pressure load and thus increase grip. This reduces the braking distance by 6% compared to its predecessor.

Superb performance that lasts

  • Improved shoulder grooves: wet braking performance is improved by extended lateral shoulder grooves, which effectively secure cavities during braking maneuvers or heavy loads and increase the contact area. In addition, special connecting rods on the shoulder blocks ensure a closed structure that minimizes noise levels during normal driving.
  • Fine-tuned stiffness pattern: maximized stiffness in the direction of travel, especially on the outer sides, improves grip on dry roads.
  • Optimized tread design for even wear: the tread blocks and tread grooves have been optimally coordinated to guarantee even wear and a long tire life. This increases mileage by 30% compared to its predecessor.
  • Enhanced cornering stability: the flattened shoulder profile increases the rigidity of the tire sidewall for optimum grip and driving stability, especially at high speeds.
  • Excellent water drainage: the advanced drainage design reduces block deformation for better contact with the road. It guarantees safer driving on wet roads thanks to a convex block shape. This means 7% shorter braking distances on wet roads and 4% better handling compared to the previous model.
  • Enhanced grip performance thanks to a new formula: the Ventus evo offers excellent grip even on wet roads thanks to a new rubber compound with performance-enhancing resins. The enhanced compound material increases grip by optimizing tire temperature as a result of tire movement.
  • Even ground pressure distribution: the further fine-tuned shape and inner structure of the tire have resulted in an even contact patch for low wear, even under high loads.

    Impressed so far

    Braking in the wet feels a touch longer than my old premium set, but at this price it's fair. Steering response improved straight away after fitting.

    Very happy with these

    Not the grippiest in hard cornering, but for normal driving they're more than adequate. No squirm even on hot asphalt.

    No complaints so far

    They're okay. Comfortable enough, but I expected a bit sharper turn-in. Had these through a full season now. Slightly firmer ride than I expected.
