• Outstanding water drainage: the advanced drainage design reduces block deformation for better contact with the road. It ensures safer driving on wet roads thanks to a convex block shape. This means 7% shorter braking distances on wet roads and 4% better handling compared to the previous model.
• Optimized stiffness pattern: maximized stiffness in the direction of travel, especially on the outer sides, improves grip on dry roads.
• Improved shoulder grooves: wet braking performance is improved by extended lateral shoulder grooves, which effectively secure cavities during braking maneuvers or heavy loads and increase the contact area. In addition, special connecting rods on the shoulder blocks ensure a closed structure that minimizes noise levels during normal driving.
• Enhanced grip performance thanks to a new formula: the Ventus evo offers superb grip even on wet roads thanks to a new rubber compound with performance-enhancing resins. The enhanced compound material increases grip by optimizing tire temperature as a result of tire movement.
