Description

The Kenda KR501 WINTERGEN 2 in size 225/50 R17 98V is one of our passenger car winter tyres.

Designed for the cold season, this tyre combines a winter compound with a tread pattern that packs snow for grip and clears slush quickly. Steering and braking stay reassuring on icy and snow-covered roads.

Very happy with these
They're okay. Comfortable enough, but I expected a bit sharper turn-in. Steering response improved straight away after fitting. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.

Would buy again
Braking in the wet feels a touch longer than my old premium set, but at this price it's fair. Grip in corners is reassuring and the steering feels a bit sharper than before.
