The "Ecsta HS52" clearly surpasses the performance of its predecessor "Ecsta HS51" in terms of handling, rolling resistance, mileage and comfort.

Strong wet grip (class A)

As a summer tyre, the Ecsta HS52 is tuned for warm conditions: a firm tread compound and a pattern built for stable dry handling and short braking distances. On wet roads the grooves channel water away quickly to keep the contact patch working.

Great on the motorway
Grip when pulling away on wet junctions is much better than my old tyres. Decent grip dry and wet, but they took a few hundred km to feel bedded in.

All-round good pick
Put these on two months ago and the car feels noticeably more planted. The Ecsta HS52 grips well on dry roads. Bought on price, staying for the quality. No squirm even on hot asphalt. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.
