What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Braking feels secure
Fitted before a long road trip. Comfortable at motorway speeds and felt safe in heavy rain. No squirm even on hot asphalt. Slightly firmer ride than I expected.

Great on the motorway
Brakes hard and straight, no pulling. Very reassuring. No squirm even on hot asphalt.

Okay for everyday driving
Good tyre overall. Would have liked a bit more feedback through the steering. Balanced and predictable.

Handles well
Does the job, nothing more. For daily commuting it's perfectly fine. Had these through a full season now.

Reliable summer rubber
Put these on two months ago and the car feels noticeably more planted. The S Fit 2 LK12 grips well on dry roads.

Reliable summer rubber
Decent grip dry and wet, but they took a few hundred km to feel bedded in. Slightly firmer ride than I expected.
