What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Recommended
My mechanic recommended Laufenn and he was right. Quiet, stable, no complaints. Switched from a budget brand to the S Fit 2 LK12 — the difference in braking is obvious. Stable and precise in summer heat.

Fair tyre for the money
For this price I didn't expect much, but the S Fit 2 LK12 genuinely surprised me. Fitted before a long road trip. Slightly firmer ride than I expected.

Braking feels secure
Decent tyre at a fair price. Tread pattern clears water well. Braking in the wet feels a touch longer than my old premium set, but at this price it's fair.

Quiet and comfortable
Good in town and on the motorway alike. Versatile tyre. Slightly firmer ride than I expected.
