What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Better than expected
Wet braking is excellent. Gave me real confidence on a flooded motorway stretch. Reliable summer rubber.

Fair tyre for the money
Ride comfort is the standout. Long journeys feel less tiring now. No squirm even on hot asphalt. Slightly firmer ride than I expected.

Braking feels secure
Fitted before a long road trip. Comfortable at motorway speeds and felt safe in heavy rain. Early days, but first impressions are very good. Stable and precise in summer heat.

Very happy with these
Does the job, nothing more. For daily commuting it's perfectly fine. Brakes hard and straight, no pulling.

Solid summer tyre
Second set of Laufenn on this car. The last ones wore well, expecting the same here. Decent grip dry and wet, but they took a few hundred km to feel bedded in.
