Description

MPS400 Variant AW 2 - the all-season tyre for transporter and vans.

The new step-shaped tread pattern improves grip on wet roads, while the transverse grooves guarantee extremely efficient water displacement. The tyre protects you from aquaplaning and is characterised by short braking distances even on wet roads.
The belt structure in the centre of the tread guarantees excellent driving stability and safe cornering on dry and wet roads as well as on snowy roads.
The step-shaped profile edges interlock with the snow cover and the newly designed snow pockets guarantee optimum safety in winter with outstanding traction and braking characteristics.

What the tyre markings mean

M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
