The tyre offers impressive cornering stability. Sinus-waved sipes and many strong and efficient interlocking grip edges improve braking and traction on snow. Water displacement grooves guide the rainwater quickly away from the contact area. In this way the tyre remains firmly on track even when aquaplaning, and also performs very well on slush.
- Good traction on snow
- Excellent protection against aquaplaning
- Safe cornering

Decent for the price
Good value, though the sidewall is softer than my previous set. Proper grip on packed snow, no wheelspin drama.

Decent for the price
Grip in corners is reassuring and the steering feels a bit sharper than before. Second set of Matador on this car. Holds well in snow and slush.

Great on the motorway
Does the job, nothing more. For daily commuting it's perfectly fine. For this price I didn't expect much, but the MPS530 Sibir Snow genuinely surprised me. Felt secure on icy morning roads.

Fair tyre for the money
Reliable winter rubber. No surprises, which is exactly what I want. Took a few hundred km to bed in.
