Latitude Sport 3 is an ultra high performance off-road and summer SUV tyre with sporty performance features such as superb dry grip and superb wet grip.

Designed for use in wet conditions:

A new tread compound and increased cavity ratio provide improved wet grip.

Outstanding mileage without compromises in safety, robustness or fuel consumption:

* Compared to its predecessor MICHELIN Latitude Sport, tested by TÜV SÜD 2013 on wet and dry roads (235/65 R17).

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
EV: Suitable for electric vehiclesThis tyre is optimised for the weight, torque, rolling resistance and noise requirements of electric and hybrid vehicles. The marking does not mean that it can only be used on an EV.
RFT: Run-flat technologyReinforced sidewalls can permit limited continued driving after a loss of pressure. The permitted speed and distance depend on the manufacturer; a pressure monitoring system is normally required.

Does the job well
Bought a full set of MICHELIN for the family car. Comfortable ride and no drama in the rain. Not the grippiest in hard cornering, but for normal driving they're more than adequate.

Fuel consumption seems slightly better since the switch. Tyres themselves are great. Handles standing water better than my previous set.
